Luuuuuuuungo window shopping

Dovrei creare una tag che sia window shopping, vista l' innumerevole quantità di post con questo argomento. Anzi, ultimamente sto migliorando: meno articoli (che esagerazione questa parola per il mio pseudo blog!) e più cose da mostrare... se fossi un cane meriterei il mio croccantino.
I should (well, actually I did) create a tag for the window shopping, considering that maybe most of the posts on the blog are about it. Il pea-coat con bottoni dorati, un must. Questo qui è della vampiresca (per i prezzi) Balmain, che chiede più di 2000 euro per portarselo a casa. Fortuna che c' è Burberry!

Lanvin:
Lo sapete che ho una mania per Lanvin, no? A Londra ho visto dal vivo le loro scarpe eleganti in pelle verniciata dei più strambi colori. In alcune tonalità sono proprio interessanti, chapeau a Lanvin!

Odio le high top, ma se queste esistessero anche basse le comprerei subito! il mio portafogli ringrazia Lucas Ossendrijver ( e spero di averlo scritto correttamente). Che bel colore!
I don't like the high-tops, but if these were also low I would buy the right now! My wallet thanks Lucas Ossendrijver for not having create them (I hope I wrote the surname well!). I love the colour.

Eccoci all' abbigliamento: questa che sembrerebbe una ordinaria felpa è in verità di morbidissimo cotone come rivestimento e all' esterno in chiffon di seta (vedete le maniche?). Se nera non sembra niente di che, grigio-beige è invece elegante e sportiva insieme.
This may look like an ordinary hooded sweater, but the materials are very particoular: silky cotton on the inside and silk chiffon outside (look at the cuffs). Black is nothing nice, but gray/beige is elegant and sporty, a modern dandy piece.
Finiamo in bellezza i Lanvin con le spille per il bavero della cravatta. Per rendere originale un look casual con blazer e sfavillante uno elegante (scusate la pessima rima)!

Poi c'è Balenciaga, un brand che sto amando sempre di più per le linee crude e futuristiche, le ricerche sui materiali e il minimalismo moderno, non piatto e tradizionale, ma semplice e innovativo. Le sneakers di Balenciaga, viste dal vivo e toccate, sono state una sorta di definitiva folgore sulla via di Damasco (leggasi Londra): decisamente una delle cose che più si avvicina a un quadro di Alberto Burri. Il maestro dell' arte povera, le sneakers di Balenciaga riprendono (o forse mi sto sognando tutto e Guesquiere neanche sa chi fosse Burri) l' uso di vari materiali e texture differenti. Immagino che usate siano ancora meglio. Peccato che se non osservate da vicino molte non rendano.
Now is the time for Balenciaga: I love their modern shapes, so futuristic, the research on new materials and modern minimalism, that is simple, but innovative.
The Balenciaga sneakers have to be touched, in order to appreciate the many textures given to the materials, like an Alberto Burri painting. I hope Guesquiere knows who Burri was, because this makes them an "intellectual" sneaker.
Suola in gomma semitrasparente, affascinante, no? Poi c' è camoscio lavorato con questo effetto marmo e pelle normale.

La ricerca di materiali da stratificare e sovrapporre a mo' di cipolla (e, se il risultato non è niente di chè, allora parliamo di aglio), continua ad esempio con un maglione (ma è anche disponibile la polo) in un simpatico senape/verde.

Proprio a proposito di quel genio di McQueen a Londra mi sono imbattuto, oltre che nel pull a mappa (deve essere mio!), in uno semplice ma di grande effetto. Un maglione leggero con scollo a V, elegante, in lana merino blu navy. La sua semplicità viene (inter)rotta da un nastro di lana rossa che lo atttraversa, creando anche una gradevole piega all' altezza del collo. Niente di esagerato, eppure molto bello, con questo twist in the tail, anzi in the neck.
Still speaking about McQueen this is a vvery nice but simple V-neck pull I saw in London. Elegant and classy, of merinos wool, with a red web "breaking" the blue flat quiet. I like the sort of red twist-in-the-tail (or I should say in the neck!? ;))

Altro genio indiscusso della moda è Martin Margiela. Il suo brand è molto particolare, anzi ultimamente mi pare più "borghesizzato", però riesce a fare cose che mischino una certa portabilità con uno stile unico e personale. Per esempio questo:

Poi ci sono i maglioni intrecciati, mia passione. Bellissimo questo di Malo fatto a mano:

O questo cardigan di Ralph Lauren, solo 1600 e passa euro! Stranamente in UK costava qualcosa come 1750 sterline: i beni di lusso sono molto più cari lì che da noi, tranne Burberry (non sono invece sicuro su McQueen).

Chiudo la selezione di maglioni (ma sappiate che il post è ancora lungo!) con un brand che ormai conosco da molto tempo (prima o poi sarò invitato a una sfilata... un tempo, quando compravo Burberry allo stesso ritmo con cui la terra gira su se stessa, mi mandavano anche a casa gli inviti: "venga a provare", "scopra la collezione"...): Burberry. Questo è della linea London in lana e un generoso 10% (ok, era ironico) di cashmere.
Now we're speaking about Burberry, that's the first fashion brand I used to wear (I hope they' ll invite me to a runway, someday... once upon a time, when I bought Burberry's at the rythm the Earth turns on itself, they sent me at home many invitations: "try the new collection", "discover...", "pre-sales" and so on.

Sempre parlando del mio adorato brand londinese c' è questo, di prorsum, che è un po' più anticonvenzionale ma sempre maglione intrecciato è. Direttamente dall' armadio dello yeti... (ooooooooooo):

L' effetto oversized è voluto da Burberry, ma calza normalmente, non è lunghissimo e deforme a mo' di tunica Lanvin. Provato addosso non so se la pelosità sia stucchevole o bella, fatto sta che mohair, lana e cashmere lo rendono bello morbido. Anche le mie amate trecce dal vivo sono più evidenti.
Don't worry about the "long as a tunic" affect, it fits normally. But I still don't know what to think about that hairy-fluffy mix of cashmere, mohair and wool.
Orrore degli orrori della collezione prorsum di quest' anno: la tshirt con pannello in pelliccia davanti (ma dico, stiamo scherzando? fosse un maglione con pannello in montone quasi quasi, ma la tee con una volpe scuoiata sopra fa ridere!) e il maglione a trecce interamente realizzato in lapin. del genere: dopo la collina dei conigli e la collina dei ricordi, ecco l' epilogo della famosa serie lapina di Adams: la collina degli scuoiati, realizzata a quattro mani con Christopher Bailey.
Ma neanche ve li mostro, non mi curo di loro...
Vedo invece con piacere che i prezzi di prorsum si sono abbassati (o forse, più probabile, sto perdendo la concezione del denaro, con tutti i soldi che mi sono fumato a Londra) e brit fa sempre più cose carine.
Eccovi infatti un assaggio:

They also say on the site that the V neckline is discrete... sure, but maybe they didn't see the fur! Than we find a cable knitted golf of Lapin fur. But let's go on. I saw that Prorsum prices are getting lower (or, probably, I'm losing the idea of money) and Brit makes alway nicer clothes. Such as these:

Il fantastico pea-coat di cui (molto) sopra. Notare la faccia in estasi del modello. Lo sapete che una volta una commessa mi ha detto che avrei potuto fare il loro modello. L' ho preso come un complimento (o mi voleva implicitamente dire che ero anoressico?), ma è stata licenziata poco dopo (o, come spero io, era part time. Peccato, aveva anche dei conigli!)
The peacoat! Note the ecstasiated face of the model. Do you know that some time ago a shop assistant told me I could be a Burberry model? I hope it was a compliment (or it was just telling me to eat something more?), however she was dismissed some time ago (or, as I hope for her, it was just a part-time work. That's a pity, she also had some rabbits!)
E poi le tshirt. Burberry prova timidamente a emulare le tshirt ricamate e con appliques che Lanvin ha tolto dal loro appannaggio unicamente femminile (le uniche tee per cui vale spendere tanto, o almeno così credo), dopo lo splendido precedente di qualche collezione fa (fw 2010-2011) con la maglietta dotata di medaglia militare.

Dicevo, prendendo questi illustri esempi, Burberry si lancia a fare della (facile) ironia su una dello cose più inglesi che esistano: il tempo. Foglie che cadono, neve che cade...
Burberry brit, as I was saying, tries to do the same with a very very British theme: the weather. Naturally we are speaking about London weather, so here you are falling leaves, rain and so on.


Spero che qualcuno me le regali, altrimenti dovrò svaligiare il negozio durante i saldi (almeno uno di quei quattro maglioni lo vorrei!) specialmente dopo che ho scoperto (o meglio, ho la quasi certezza) che per fare il feltro (delle foglie) non serve uccidere un coniglio ma solo tosarlo.
I hope someone will give it to me as a gift, or I'm going to burgle the shop during the sales (I would also like at least one of those pulls!).

Mi piace perchè, soprattutto dal vivo (mamma quante foto non rendono giustizia ai capi!) l' effetto nebbioso di Londra è reso molto efficacemente.

Passiamo poi alle scarpe. La prima vittima del mio shopping pindarico (perchè tanto quante di queste cose comprerò?) sono le penny loafers per cui ultimamente (chissà, forse merito di Tommy Hilfiger) sto avendo una lieviiissima fissazione. Ma lieve lieve. A patto, però, che siano col penny. Se no non valgono una ceppa.
Now lew te enjoy some pairs of shoes I probably will never have. Such as the formal penny loafers, that, in this times, I like a lot, maybe thanks to Tommy Hilgiher. But they've to have the penny. Strictly forbidden to go for a penny loafers pair without pennies.
Queste sono di Mr. Hare, brand inglese che fin dal nome mi sta simpatico: significa infatti mister Lepre. E indovinate che cosa è disegnato sul penny?
Anche le Bottega Veneta sono belle (ma in generale, ripeto, qualunque abbia il penny) e la versione gomminata Tod's, forse più giovane e interessante:

Una curiosità: il penny non serviva, in caso di morte immediata, a pagare l' esoso e politicaly uncorrect traghettatore di anime Caronte (con occhi di bragia), ma aveva una funzione pratica. Quale? Quella di gettone per la cabina telefonica, importantissimo in un epoca senza cellulari. Naturalmente il penny era vero, non dato dal brand. La mascherina invece si dice derivi dall' usanza della moglie del proprietario di una fabbrica di scarpe di baciargliele tutte le mattine. tenero? fetish.
Do you know that the penny wasn't usefull to pay the greedy and politicaly uncorrect Charon, but it was very usefull for the telephone, when the mobiles didn't exist. Naturally the penny was real, not with the brand logo or something else. The cap it's said to come from a strange practice of the whife of the holder of a shoes factory, that kissed his hoes each morning before he went working. Tender? fetish.
Ho poi scoperto di avere una rete di contatti che, chissà, mi potrebbe permettere delle Loubi a prezzi interessanti. La suola rossa mi ha conquistato con questo paio di low top, ma non sono ancora nelle mie priorità.
I also discovered a net of acquaintances that maybe could allow me to have Louboutin at quite low prices. I like this red sole low tops, but they still aren't in my priority list.

Avvistata poi da Selfridges una simpatica camicia Moschino. Avete presente quel tipo di camicie con una stampa della cravatta un po' slacciata sopra? Simpatica, ma poco elegante e troppo frequente per me. Ecco invece la versione di Moschino: una camicia con plastron (quindi dovrebbe essere da frac o smoking), con la stampa del farfallino disfatto intorno al collo.
I also saw a nice Moschino shirt at Selfridges. do you know those shirts with a printed tie, kept slack? Nice, but no so elegant. Moschino made a more uncommon version, also nicer: a plastron shirt (so theorically it should be used for black or white bow tie), with an untied bow tie around the neck. Unfortunately no photo.
Finiamo soddisfacendo la mia voglia di Missoni crescente ma che non ha ancora scalato la mia wishlist (anzi è ferma al campo base).
